WORCESTER – A public meeting on the Kelley Square Reconstruction project scheduled for April 2 has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and the state’s order prohibiting meetings of more than 25 people to mitigate the spread of the virus.

The meeting was scheduled for 6 PM at the Hibernian Cultural Center and was supposed to be the setting to present information on the planned reversal of direction on Harding and Millbury streets. As ThisWeekinWorcester.com first reported, the reversal is scheduled for May 5.

The reversal will take place in a single night from 2 AM to 5 AM.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation [MassDOT] will distribute flyers ahead of the reversal. Within the next week, MassDOT will put a presentation regarding the reversal of streets on the Kelley Square project’s website.
