Worcester Man Gets 5 Years in Prison for Illegal Possession of Firearm

WORCESTER – A Worcester man was sentenced in federal court in Worcester to five years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

34-year-old Leroy Byron plead guilty in November 2019 to being a felon in possession of a firearm. Byron is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to prior convictions. 

In addition to five years in prison, Byron also received three years of supervised release.
