WORCESTER – Emergency response rushed a 39-year-old man from Worcester to the hospital with serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into another vehicle on Monday, September 7.
The report of an accident near Jackson St. and Main St. around 4 PM led to the Worcester Crash Reconstruction Team being activated to investigate.
According to Worcester Police, the preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota Corolla was was on Jackson St. taking a left turn onto Main St. at the time of the crash.
Police believe the motorcycle rider was travelling on Main St. and made impact with the Corolla while doing a wheelie. The impact threw the rider from the motorcycle and into the other lane on Main St.
The driver of the Corolla was not inured.
The crash remains under investigation.
