Man Shot on Harlem St. in Worcester; Police Searching for Suspects

WORCESTER – On Tuesday evening around 7:40 PM, Worcester Police officers were called to the area of Harlem and South Ward St. for a report of gunshots.

When they arrived, officers found a male gunshot victim lying in front of 24 Harlem St. He had been shot in the abdomen.

Officers gave the victim medical treatment until paramedics and other officers arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Witnesses told police that they victim was shot while walking down Harlem St. A couple people got out of a car and began to shoot at him. The victim was struck once and the vehicle drove away.
