WORCESTER – A Worcester County Grand Jury issued an indictment against a men in a stabbing death stabbing death in a Worcester apartment in February.
Sadrac Metellus, 29, of Worcester, was indicted for allegedly stabbing Vesline Garnier, 24, inside the couple’s apartment on Douglas Street.
Police found Garnier suffering from multiple stab wounds shortly after 5 PM on Feb. 4. EMS rushed her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police arrested Metellus and charged him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was arraigned for murder in Worcester Central District Court on Feb. 15.
The indictment moves the case to Worcester Superior Court where Metellus is expected to be arraigned on May 14.
