WORCESTER – National Grid is hosting an Energy Assistance Event for customers in Worcester on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Worcester Public Library.
National Grid assistance program experts will present customers ways to manage their energy bill and save money. Customers will be able to explore options and determine eligibility for assistance programs, including discount rates, payment plans, budget billing and the Arrears Management Program.
Customers that receive SNAP, MassHealth, SSI, or WIC should bring their benefit card or program acceptance letter to enroll in National Grid’s discount rate program for gas and electric accounts. These customers may also qualify for a Forgiveness Program.
The event is Oct. 25 from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Saxe Room at the Worcester Public Library’s main branch at 3 Salem Sq. To learn more, click here.
