A series of events this weekend at the Worcester Common Oval, at 455 Main Street, celebrates the new year.
On Friday, December 31, outdoor ice skating in a festive environment, including music and holiday lights, celebrate from 1 PM to 9 PM. The first 250 guests who purchase a skate admission for Friday will receive a FREE New Year’s Eve goody bag filled with party supplies to help ring in 2022!
On Saturday, January 1, The Oval is open for skating from 1 PM to 6 PM. There will also be New Year’s resolutions written by attendees displayed on the Skate Shack.
On Sunday, January 2, start the new year by skating for FREE and helping to make a difference in the community by donating a new pair of gloves or mittens for children or adults to be donated to Veterans Inc. and the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester. Your donation is good for one complimentary skate admission. Bring two pairs of gloves, receive two complimentary admissions. Bring three pairs of gloves, receive three complimentary admissions. The more gloves or mittens you donate, the more complimentary admissions you receive to skate for FREE on Sunday, January 2.
Admission to skate is $5.00 per person. Skate rentals are also available for $5.00 per person.
