Police Seek to Identify Suspect in Assault on Walmart Cashier

LEICESTER – The Leicester Police Department [LPD] is asking for the public’s help to identify the woman in the above image in connection with an assault.

According to LPD, on March 27 this woman approached checkout at Walmart on Soojian Dr. in Leicester. She presented several cans of Lysol Disinfectant Spray for purchase.

The Walmart cashier informed the woman that the store had implemented a quantity limit per customer on the purchase of that product.

LPD alleged the unidentified woman then opened one can of Lysol, pointed it in at the cashier’s eyes and face and sprayed.

The woman completed her purchase and left in a vehicle believed to be from a ride sharing service.

The cashier received attention from Emergency Medical Services.
