AUBURN – A seasonal seafood and ice cream shop on Rt. 12 and Rt. 20 in Auburn announced on Friday that it is now permanently closed.

Ronnie’s Seafood and Ice Cream, at 871 Southbridge St. in Auburn, said on Friday that after 67 seasons, the time has come to close its door for good.

Ed and Florence Lemansky founded Ronnie’s in 1957. The seasonal walk-up to order restaurant, which had yet to open in 2024, had four generations of Lemansky’s work within the business.
