Rooftop Party Planned for Pearl Elm Garage in August

WORCESTER – Pulse Magazine’s annual Sunset in the City rooftop party is moving to a parking garage in downtown Worcester this summer.

The party, previously held on the roof of Union Station, is August 13 from 7 PM to midnight at the Pearl Elm garage on Pearl Street.

Union Station currently doesn’t have working elevators, so the City of Worcester asked the rooftop party organizers to move the event to the top of the parking garage.

Pulse Magazine publisher Paul Giorgio and Flying Rhino restaurant owner Paul Barber went before the city’s License Commission on Thursday to present their plans for the rooftop party.

The organizers expect around 150 people to attend Sunset in the City and the party will feature a DJ and live entertainment, food and cocktails from Flying Rhino and more.  The event is 21+.
