WORCESTER - The Santander Bank branch at 1125 Pleasant St. in Tatnuck Square in Worcester will close its doors at the end of business on June 8. The branch will be consolidated with the Santander Branch at 51 Gold Star Blvd. in Worcester.
Santander says it is responding to customer preferences, and an increased shift to online banking. "We are reimagining the customer and employee experience by simplifying our processes, refining our branch footprint, and increasing our investment in digital capabilities to align with the evolving needs of our customers.”
The 2023 property valuation for 1125 Pleasant St. is $563,400. Clarkson-Giffin Realty has owned the property since 1988.
The building was constructed in 1973 and is 2,284 square feet.
