WORCESTER – A 48-year-old Worcester man was stabbed on Cambridge St. during an altercation early Wednesday morning.
According to the Worcester Police, the stabbing occurred around 7:40 AM. The man was transported to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Police located the suspect in the backyard of a nearby home. The suspect is a 64-year-old male from Worcester. He was taken into custody without incident.
His identity is being withheld due to the comprehensive domestic violence law.
Officers on scene were also able to recover the weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
