State Park Playgrounds and Other Facilities Closed

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation [DCR] has closed playgrounds and fitness areas throughout the state parks system effective immediately.

DCR has also closed its agency managed bathroom facilities, also effective immediately.

All state parks across Massachusetts remain open.

The playgrounds an fitness areas closure is will be reassessed on April 1.

The policy on managed bathroom facilities will be reassessed on March 25.

The playgrounds closed in Worcester County include:

Blackstone Playground
Main Street, Blackstone

Dunn’s Pond Playground
Pearl Street, Gardener

Leominster Pool Playground
Viscolid Avenue, Leominster

Purgatory Chasm Playground
Purgatory Road, Sutton
