Episode 1 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 5, ‘Hit-and-Run or Homicide? The Unsolved Case of Travis Monroe,’ Now Available

WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released episode 1 of Season 5 on Tuesday.

Unsolved: Worcester is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 19 minutes.

Episode 1 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 5 tells the story behind the death of 17-year-old Travis Monroe, found dead in the middle of the road on Fales Street in Worcester’s Burncoat neighborhood on Oct. 1, 2006.

The episode is now available to stream on the following platforms:

Unsolved: Worcester will return with episode 2 of Season 5 on Tuesday, June 20 and the unsolved murder of John Sousa.  John’s body was found on June 5, 2019, inside of plastic storage container in the back of a van at a tow yard on Park Avenue. John had been missing for several weeks.

Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
