A Massachusetts State Police cruiser was struck on Rt. 84 in Sturbridge early Thursday morning.

According to MSP, just after 12 AM, a rented U-Haul truck and trailer crashed into the cruiser inside a road detail on Rt. 84 westbound.

The Trooper who was struck and the operator of the rental truck that struck the cruiser were both transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

Their injuries are believed to be minor.
