WORCESTER – The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for northern and central parts of Masschusetts, including Worcester.
The NWS anticipates accumulations of up to five inches of snow across the state with Central Massachusetts and northern parts of Western Massachusetts getting the brunt of the snow.
The advisory is in effect from 1 AM to 7 PM on Tuesday and will likely effect the morning commute in Worcester.
The NWS advises drivers to plan on slippery road conditions. The snow is expected to be falling the heaviest during the morning rush hour.
