WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office released episode 6 of Season 6 on Tuesday.
Unsolved: Worcester is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 15 minutes.
Episode 6 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 6 shares the story of the unsolved murder of Holly Jean Cote on March 4, 1984.
Holly was last seen alive leaving the former Mr. D’s Lounge in Gardner. Her body was found by canoeists floating in a swamp area near Birch Hill Dam in Royalston in June 1984. She had been strangled to death.
The episode is now available to stream on the following platforms:
Unsolved: Worcester will return on Dec. 5 with the unsolved case of Cory Cane, who was killed as a result of hit-and-run in January 2012.
Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from Chasing Daylight Studio. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
