WORCESTER – The Holy Cross Crusaders men’s basketball team advanced in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament on Tuesday night with a 79-74 win over #7 league-ranked Lafayette.
The #10 Crusaders (16-16) will next take on #2 Bucknell on Thursday night at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, PA. The Bucknell Bison (19-11) beat the Crusaders in a 15-point victory at home on Jan. 14.

However, the Crusaders and Bison split their season series (1-1) when the Crusaders beat Bucknell on Feb. 16, 72-71, at Holy Cross.
