WORCESTER – The City of Worcester will host a watch party on Worcester Common when the U.S. women’s soccer team competes to become FIFA World Cup champions on Sunday, July 7 at 11 AM.
There will be pickup soccer games on a mobile pitch on the Common before and after the game broadcast.Â
Admission to the event will be free with the first 100 people receiving a free ice cream cone and other refreshments. Food trucks will also be available. The game will be shown on a 8 x 16 screen.Â
Partners in hosting the event include USA Soccer, Mass. Youth Soccer and the Worcester Community Soccer Coalition.Â
