The weekend is on its way, Worcester! For many families, this weekend marks the end of February vacation for school aged children.

Find family fun for everyone with ThisWeekinWorcester.com’s list of great events happening this Saturday or Sunday. Get a few more days of family bonding in or take a break from the kids with a date night.

Entertain yourself and your children with activities you won’t want to miss. Sign your family up for a painting class or indulge in a date night with a city scavenger hunt.

Add color to your weekend!

You and your family are invited to get creative this Saturday!

Join the Charlton Arts and Activities Center this Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at their Family Friendly Paint Class. Tickets to the class are $35 for each adult and $30 for each child. Ticket prices include supplies and instruction.

Let music bring you together this Sunday!

Get into Bluegrass music! Acoustic Java Roastery & Tasting Room in Worcester is hosting a Bluegrass Music Jam on Sunday from noon to 3:30 PM.

Don’t just listen and tap your feet to the music; you are invited to join in and participate in an open jam session! Share your music with the whole venue!

Find an escape from the ordinary!

Head over to the Worcester Main Library at 3 Salem Sq. for an Escape Room for Kids. Children of the ages 7 to 12 are welcome to crack the code at the library at a fun themed escape room.

There is a furry friend lost in a winter wonderland and participants must look for clues and solve puzzles to help him. Each group receives 30 minutes to solve the escape room!

Let your children be royalty for a day!

Regal Princess Parties is inviting your little princes and princesses to an ultimate tea party experience. Drive down to 119 E Central Street in Franklin for a Royal Princess Tea Party. There will be delicious treats, crafts, story time, dancing, singing, and of course, tea!

The event starts at 11 AM. Tickets are $25 per child and the event is limited to just 12 people, so make reservations quickly.

Reserve an afternoon alone, without the kids!

This event is just for couples! This Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, treat your partner to a fun date night at Taft Public Library in Mendon. The Library is holding a Scavenger Hunt for Couples.

The Scavenger Hunt is accessed through an app and features a series of challenges to get more quality time with your loved one that will take you across Mendon. Take photos along the way to capture all the fun moments.
