Make Saturday and Sunday something to look forward to. Begin St. Patrick’s Day weeks in advance at Worcester’s Irish Festival or unleash your beast at the EcoTarium. 

 

St. Patrick’s Day comes early to Worcester!

Feel the luck of the Irish at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Deck out in all green this Saturday at Worcester’s 39th Annual Irish Festival.

Festivities kick off with Irish step dancing, music, food, drinks, and much more!

Get wild at the EcoTarium!

Release your inner animal this Saturday at the EcoTarium. This Saturday is World Wildlife Day at the immersive museum.

From 10 AM to 5 PM, the EcoTarium will be holding an event to recognize the diverse animals and plants of the world. Also spend the day learning important facts about conservation. Tickets are $19 for adults and $14 for children. 

 

Get in some sensory friendly fun!

Bring your whole family for an inclusive activity! Apex Entertainment in Marlborough is holding sensory friendly time between 10 and 11 AM.

To allow everyone to be included in some fun, Apex sets aside an hour every first Sunday of the month to accommodate their guests. This hour will feature reduced lighting, sound, sensory toys, and quiet rooms. 

 

Toast to the end of the week!

This weekend is marking a big event for beer lovers. Mass Beer Week is starting this Saturday and ending on March 11 in Sterling.

Head to Sterling Street Brewery to sip your way through the week. With a purchase of a mixed four pack, you will receive a custom pint glass. There will be a new beer release on Saturday and the week continues with even more fun like candle making and a tasting tour. 

 

Learn a new craft this weekend!

Have your children wanted to learn something new? This is their opportunity!This Saturday from 3 PM to 6 PM, join an introductory embroidery lesson called Totally Cool Embroidery.

This class is designed for teenagers of the ages 14 to 17. Students will learn basic sewing skills and several stitch patterns to create letters, textures, and images. The class is $70, and you must register for your spot in advance.
