DUDLEY – Two Worcester men were arrested in Dudley on Wednesday after police were called to the Dollar General on West Main St. to investigate a suspicious vehicle.

The driver, 58-year-old George W Rice III, of Worcester, had a suspended license. Rice and the passenger, 26-year-old Omar Ayala, also from Worcester, appeared nervous and provided inconsistent stories, according to police.

A brief investigation lead to locating cocaine, heroin, several hundred dollars in cash and drug distribution materials in the vehicle.

It was the second consecutive day two men sat in a white Kia in the parking lot for several hours. At times, the men reportedly appeared to be acting like they were asleep.

Both men were charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of cocaine.

Rice was also charged with operating with a suspended license and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

Both men were held and will appear in Dudley District Court on Thursday.
