WORCESTER – The Massachusetts State Lottery Worcester Regional Office will be moving to 135 Gold Star Blvd. in 2023.
The Worcester office, currently at 151 W. Boylston Dr., will share the space with the Seven Hills Foundation.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, the exact date of the move is still undetermined. Sources tell ThisWeekinWorcester.com the move could happen by the end of February.
The total space for the new lottery office is 18,300 sq. ft. A warehouse for the lottery is currently under construction at the back of the Gold Star Boulevard building.
The Worcester lottery office is one of six regional offices across the state and it sells all lottery products, including draw and instant games. The office can cash all lottery prizes up to $103,000.
On Tuesday, ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported the State Lottery will introduce a $50 scratch ticket on Feb. 7, 2023.
