WORCESTER – A 26-year-old Worcester man was arrested last week after an investigation by the Worcester Police Department [WPD].
According to the WPD, on Jan. 22, Michael Garoulis, of 22 Harold St., caused a ShotSpotter activation by firing six rounds into the air at the corners of Waverly and Coral streets.

The WPD applied for an arrest warrant for Garoulis and located him on March 8. Garoulis was placed under arrest and is being charged with Possession of a Machine Gun, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling, and Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card.
Garoulis will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
