WORCESTER – Sunday hours return to the Worcester Public Library (WPL) for the next six months starting this weekend, Oct. 15.
Seasonal weekend hours provide access to the Main Library, at 3 Salem St., from noon to 4 PM on most Sundays through April 25. The library will be closed for holidays on the following Sundays during that time period in observance of holidays:
- Nov. 12: Veterans Day
- Nov. 26: Sunday after Thanksgiving
- Dec. 24: Christmas
- Dec. 31: New Year
- Jan. 14: President’s Day
- Feb 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- March 31: Easter Sunday
- April 14: Patriot’s Day
Main Library hours for the rest of the week are unchanged:
- Monday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9 AM – 8:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9 AM – 8:30 PM
- Thursday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
WPL branch libraries maintain their own hours. Branches are located at:
- 526 Burncoat St.
- 470 West Boylston St.
- 14 Richards St.
- 89 Tacoma St.
- 1006 Grafton St.
- 1083 Pleasant St
