The Worcester Police Department released a traffic advisory on Monday, May 10, related to the Worcester Red Sox first home game at Polar Park.
The advisory announced that Gold St., Ash St. and Washington St. are closed to all motor vehicle traffic on Tuesday, May 11, from noon through the end of the Worcester Red Sox game.
Police also advised motorists to exercise caution when travelling near the Canal District.
The advisory also said “… drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should take extra care to obey rules of the road and to be considerate of others traveling on local streets in the areas surrounding the ballpark.”
