Police Arrest Three for Webster Street Shooting

WORCESTER –  The Worcester Police Department announced on Thursday, Oct. 20, that its detective bureau has arrested three men on warrants related to a shooting on Webster Street on Saturday, Oct. 15. Six individuals were shot during the incident.

According to the Worcester Police Department, detectives obtained warrants for three individuals,

  • Luis Fernando Alves-Silva, 18, of Fall River, who was later arrested in Danbury, Conncticut;
  • Carlos Junio Alves-Silva, 21, of Fall River, who was later arrested in Worcester.
  • Patriky Sampaio Gomes. 21. of Worcester, who was later arrested in Worcester.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.

WORCESTER – Police responded overnight to a warehouse at 88 Webster St. for a report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, police discovered several shooting victims.

According to the Worcester Police Department, just after 3 AM on Saturday, Oct. 15, officers were dispatched to the warehouse and located a male shooting victim with serious injuries. The victim was rendered first aid and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

Officers located several additional shooting victims at various locations near the warehouse and at area hospitals. They were treated medically, and Worcester Police detectives arrived to process the crime scene.
