Worcester Woman Faces Fentanyl, Heroin Charges

Johanna Gardell, 37, of Worcester, faces several drug related charges after being arrested on Shrewsbury St. on Tuesday. July 7.

Worcester Police received a report on Tuesday evening about drugs being sold from a Black Mercedes on Shrewsbury St.

At about 5:30 PM officers located and approached the vehicle. A knife, crack pipe, one bag of what appeared to be crack cocaine and another that appeared to be heroin were visible in the center console.

The vehicle search revealed two scales, three bags of what appeared to be MDMA, additional bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine and heroin, two bags of what appeared to be fentanyl, and various prescription pills.

Gardell faces charges of three counts of Possession of Class B with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Class E with Intent to Distribute, two counts of Possession Class A with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
