Traffic Advisory for Tuesday’s Worcester 6 Tribute

WORCESTER – A 20th Anniversary tribute for the six Worcester firefighters who passed way in the Cold Storage fire on Dec. 3, 1999 will be held on Tuesday evening.

The City is asking motorists to avoid the area of Washington Square, Franklin St and Grafton St on Tuesday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. 

The following areas will be closed during the entire ceremony: 

  • Grafton St at Washington Square
  • Grafton St at Temple St.
  • Franklin St at Suffolk/Norfolk St.
  • Franklin St at Foster St.
  • Franklin St at Harding St.

The following roads will be closed temporarily:

  • Front St. at Foster St.
  • Bridge St. at Summer St.
  • Shrewsbury St at. Mulberry St.
