Wormtown Brewery Releases Two New IPAs, Brand Redesign

WORCESTER – Wormtown Brewery, at 72 Shrewsbury St., rolled out its new brand design this week alongside two new IPAs on store shelves now.

Wormtown’s marketing team took the success of the “Be You” Variety Packs as inspiration for the new look and performed a deep dive into the brewery’s brand identity, target audience, and branding goals. Alongside Be Hoppy are two new IPAs, Be Smooth, at 6.8 percent alcohol by volume (abv), and Be Fearless, at 8 percent abv.

“The original concept of the smiley face for Be Hoppy was the inspiration behind the brand refresh,” says Dan Marc-Aurele, Senior Graphic Designer at Wormtown. This beer already had the attention of our customers, so this seemed like the natural progression.”

The mew look and beers are found in New England liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and their taproom on Shrewsbury Street.

The brewery also plans refreshed looks for their seasonal line and a new beer, Beach Fix, a Kolsch Summer Ale.
