WORCESTER – A Chinese buffet restaurant is planned for Stafford Street at the current location of Zorba’s Taverna, at 97 Stafford St.
According to the Worcester-based commercial real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, the sale of Zorba’s, a family owned restaurant, closed on Thursday, April 25. The buyer, Families Restaurants, Inc., owns restaurants in New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
The property sold for $2.2 million.
James Keogh and Lexi Brissette of NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was represented by Jarvid Cortes of KW Realty, based in Beverly.
