Travelers Planning Vaccination before Vacations

AAA says  travelers are planning vaccination before vacations by a large margin.

According to a recent AAA survey information, 85 percent of travelers planning a vacation trip between now and fall say they will receive vaccination before leaving home.

This upcoming Memorial Day weekend, AAA says it estimates 37 million Americans will travel over 50 miles from home. That is not as many as before the pandemic, but far more than in 2020. Nine out of 10 plan to travel by car to domestic locations.

Almost all Memorial Day travel planned is domestic with the largest traveling between 50 and 200 miles.

Sometime this year, 45 percent say they will take their first trip since the pandemic.
