Sam James, Jazmin Nikole Release ‘Kiss and Tell’

Worcester native and singer-songwriter Sam James and artist Jazmin Nikole are releasing a new single today, “Kiss and Tell.”

The song is available now on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. To download and stream “Kiss and Tell,” click here.

Earlier this year, James released his first major label single, “Going Through It.” The song is available for download on Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora. To listen to “Going Through It,” click here.

On Tuesday, James TikTok page reached 300,000 followers, growing by 180,000 followers in just 12 days.

Free Basketball Training for Kids at Crompton Park Today

Bigger than Basketball is hosting a free basketball training today at Crompton Park from 2 PM to 4:30 PM for kids of all ages.

Hosted by training coaches Brian Marvie, Jamaal Ford and Echo Louissant, Bigger than Basketball will go over skills and drills including shooting, dribbling, defense, rebounding and cardio exercises. The coaches will stress the importance of teamwork both on and off the court.

Chick-fil-A Hosting Sleepover for Stuffed Animals Tonight

Chick-fil-A on Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester is hosting a Stuffed Animal Sleepover tonight.

Families are welcome to go to Chick-fil-A from 5 PM to 7 PM for dinner and making a special craft. Kids are encouraged to bring their stuffed animals and leave them overnight with the Chick-fil-a cow.

The staff will document what’s happening overnight at the restaurant on social media.

Families are welcome back on Saturday morning from 9 AM to 11 AM for a free breakfast (one entrée per child participating) and story time with the cow at 10 AM. Each stuffed animal will go home with a photo from their sleepover.

Mary Beth Benison Foundation Raffling Off Patriots Tickets and More

The Mary Beth Benison Foundation is raffling off tickets to a New England Patriots game, a Boston Red Sox game and a Boston Bruins game to raise money for the foundation.

Raffle entries are $20 per ticket. The drawing will be held on Saturday, July 23. To buy a raffle ticket, send $20 to @mbbfoundation on Venmo or Paypal.

Worcester Center for Crafts’ Hot Night in the City is Today

The Worcester Center for Crafts’ Hot Night in the City is back today from 4 PM to 9 PM, hosting over 50 local artists and craftspeople.

The party will feature live music from Jubilee Gardens, Paul Courcahine and the Southeast Asian Coalition. There will also be an ice cream, wine and beer garden featuring Redemption Rock Brewing Co., Decanted Wine Truck and Mooving Cow ice cream.

Hot Night in the City will be the opening night for “Artists on Fire” curated by Juniper Rag, in the Krikorian Gallery at 4 PM. The show will run until Aug. 6. “Artists on Fire” will feature artists, showing three pieces of work with all art for sale at $200.
