WORCESTER – A pedestrian crash on Stafford Street during the morning of Monday, April 18, left a 5-year-old girl in critical condition.
Worcester Firefighters arrived at the scene and provided treatment to the girl and her mother, who was also struck. EMS transported both to a local hospital. The mother is in serious condition.
The preliminary investigation be Worcester police indicates the mother and daughter were crossing Stafford Street when they were struck by an SUV travelling northbound. The Worcester Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
