BROOKFIELD – Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early Jr. and Brookfield Chief of Police Michael Blanchard provided an update on the search for Brittany Tee, 35, who has been missing since Jan. 10, at around 8:30 PM.
Tee was reported missing on Jan. 13 by family members. Early said the delay in reporting was due to family believing they knew where she was.
Early also said that authorities will expand the search radius on Tuesday from two to three miles around where Tee was last seen. Tee did not leave the area in her own vehicle and police say she was on foot when last seen, potentially leaving her exposed to winter weather. Early also said he hopes the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing will be assisting the search on Tuesday.
Tee is 5’6″ inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket, hoodie, jeans, and work boots.
Early and Blanchard ask residents in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage. They also asked residents to check nearby garages and sheds. Hunters are asked to check hunting blinds.
