Bullet Hits Window of Worcester Home

WORCESTER – ShotSpotter set off an alert for shots fired near Illinois St. and Gates St. on Wednesday, June 17.

Responding officers from the Worcester Police Department searched the area and found evidence that a weapon had been fired.

Shortly thereafter, a call to Worcester Police reported that bullet had hit the first-floor window of a home on Southgate St.

No injuries were reported at the residence.

Worcester Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to send an anonymous text to 274637 TIPWPD + your message or send an anonymous web based message at worcesterma.gov/police. Calls can also be made to the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.
