WORCESTER – Clark University will host “Dunk Cancer: High school Jamboree” on Saturday, Nov. 12, starting at 11 AM. The event is designed to raise cancer awareness. Health screenings will be available on-site, provided by UMASS
The YMCA, American Pyramids and Third Exposure presents the event, which includes three games of local high school teams followed by a game including local leaders from across Worcester.
Anthony Barbosa, James Lambert and Brenda Jenkins organized the event. Barbosa also organizes the annual Worcester Summer Jam Classic, which was held at Crompton Park in August.
Doors to the event open at 11 AM. The game schedule is:
12 PM -Burncoat VS. Main South
1 PM – Worcester Tech VS. Doherty
2 PM – South High VS. North High
3 PM – Worcester Leadership Game
The leadership game features Team American Pyramids against Team Michelangelo’s Barbershop.
