WORCESTER – Police responded to a commercial alarm at Sonia’s Auto Sales on Southbridge Street just after 12 AM on Wednesday.
As the first officer to arrive walked around the building, he heard a car alarm from the rear of the building and a man, later identified as 32-year-old Anthony Enos of Abington, running from the back door.
According to police, the officer ordered Enos to stop, but he ran to the car with the alarm sounding and attempted to start it. The officer pulled Enos from the car as other officers arrived to assist in the arrest.
Enos faces charges of:
- Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime;
- Larceny from a Building;
- Attempt to Commit a Crime – Larceny of a Motor Vehicle;
- Vandalism; and
- Resisting Arrest.
