Episode 9 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 2, ‘Body Found Beneath Snow at The Beacon,’ Now Available

WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released episode 9 of Season 2 on Tuesday.

From the founder of ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “Unsolved: Worcester” is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 19 minutes.

Episode 9 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 2 shares the story of the unsolved murder of 27-year-old Helen Chevalier, whose body was found on March 12, 1994 behind an apartment building at 34 Beacon St.

Helen had been missing for about three weeks before her body was discovered wrapped in blankets and a trash bag was over her head, sealed with electrical tape. She had been strangled to death.

The episode is now available to stream on the following platforms:

Season 2 of Unsolved: Worcester continues on Thursday, Feb. 2, with the unsolved murder of 49-year-old Roland Clarkson in September 1973.

Roland was bludgeoned and mutilated with a rock near Salem Square in downtown Worcester.

Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
