WORCESTER – Demand for gasoline over the holiday weekend pushed prices up eight cents in Massachusetts to start the short week after Memorial Day. The average price of gas across Massachusetts is $3.52 per gallon, according to AAA.
Over the previous four weeks, the cost of gasoline declined seven cents.
According to the Gas Buddy App, here are the five cheapest places to by regular unleaded gasoline in the Worcester area.
- $3.23 – AL Prime, 950 Southbridge St.
- $3.24 – Nouria, 719 Southbridge St.
- $3.25 – Gulf, 385 Southbridge St.
- $3.35 – Sunoco, 237 Cambridge St.
- $3.37 – Peterson Oil, $3.37 W. Boylston St./ 154 Main St., Cherry Valley
