WORCESTER – One lane of Hamilton Street in Worcester is blocked off after a major crash involving a car and passenger van.
The crash occurred shortly after 4 PM at the intersection of the eastbound lane of Hamilton St and Puritan Ave.
Multiple Worcester Police cruisers and Worcester fire trucks are on the scene. EMTs are on the scene assisting those involved in the accident.
It is unknown at this time how many occupants were in each vehicle and the seriousness of the injuries.
Traffic is being directed to Pilgrim Ave to avoid the accident scene.
