WORCESTER – A Hazardous Weather Outlook from the National Weather Service [NWS] has been issued for Central Massachusetts.
According to NWS, Worcester can expect heavy rain fall beginning late Tuesday night and continuing into Wednesday morning. The rain will likely turn to snow — with accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
The snow will continue through the early hours of the morning with areas of fog before changing back to rain around 8 AM until mid-morning.
The remainder of Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 55 degrees and strong winds that could gust as high as 36 mph.
