WORCESTER – JetBlue flights out of Worcester have been suspended since June 2020 and there doesn’t appear to be any indication of when flights will resume.
In a released statement to ThisWeekinWorcester.com, JetBlue says while revenue and the demand for air travel continue to be down, as well as an uncertain timeline for recovery, the airline has had to adjust its reopening plans for Worcester Regional Airport.
JetBlue said a reopening date has not yet been determined.
Worcester is one of six airports where JetBlue continues to suspend operations.
ThisWeekinWorcester.com was the first to report JetBlue had suspended its operations indefinitely last September.
The two other commercial airlines at Worcester Regional Airport — American Airlines and Delta — also suspended their flights last year. American stopped flying out of Worcester in June and Delta stopped on October 1.
