WORCESTER – The reconstruction of Kelley Square will take place at three locations this week, including drainage work on Madison Street, lighting and foundation work near Arwick Avenue and full depth excavation and patching in Kelley Square.
The excavation will take place from 7 AM to 3 PM from Tuesday, Feb. 25 to Friday, Feb. 28.
According to MassDOT, the construction work won’t have any major impacts on traffic in the area.
This past week, construction crews completed the full depth excavation on Harding Street.
Drainage work on Madison St. and foundation work in the Arwick Ave. area and at the Gold St. intersection will be conducted from Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported last week, two streets will permanently reverse direction in just a few months.
During the first full week of May, Millbury St. and the south end of Harding St. will reverse their directions.
