WORCESTER – A new release from Paramount Pictures, “Good Burger 2,” now featured on Paramount+, features a local actor alongside actors Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. Thompson and Mitchell starred in the Nickelodeon sitcom “Kenan & Kel” from 1996 to 2001. The prequel to the film was released in 1997.
In the film, Dex (Thompson) is welcomed back by Ed (Mitchell) to his old job at Good Burger, which is once again put in jeopardy when Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet,” according to IMDB.
Adrian Mompoint (left in lead image), of Worcester, plays the role of “Tough Goon” with significant screen time in the film. Mompoint also has a credited roles in the 2020 film “Spenser Confidential,” staring Mark Wahlberg and Alan Arkin. He also has a credited role in the 2021 film “Free Guy,” staring Ryan Reynolds. Scenes from “Free Guy” were filmed in Worcester.
Mompoint is a graduate of Holy Name Central Catholic High School (now Saint Paul Diocesan) in Worcester.
