WORCESTER – With a new peanut-shaped rotary in place, and a ballpark being built just a stone’s throw away, a local pizza joint has hung a sign that could attract even more people towards Worcester’s busiest intersection.
Kelley Square Pizza — located right at the Kelley Sq. roundabout — has replaced its long-time sign with a new, large neon sign on the side of its building.
It’s previous sign advertised Pepsi, but this new sign is courtesy of The Coca-Cola Company. The sign was built and hung by Serrato Signs in Worcester. It features “Kelley Sq. Pizza” in large letters and a giant Coca-Cola bottle alongside of it. Above the sign hangs the I-290 exit numbers (Exits 13 & 14) in the former space of its original sign.
Back in September, Kelley Square Pizza’s neighbor Hotel Vernon also upgraded their sign in preparation for the opening of Polar Park.
