Duron Harmon and his wife Christine have made a $15,000 charitable donation that will benefit four different organizations, including UMass Medical Center caregivers.

Duron Harmon was a part of three Super Bowl winning teams with the New England Patriots.

The Harmon’s donation will also benefit caregivers at Boston Medical Center and Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit and the Food Bank of Delaware.

Harmon is from Delaware and now a member of the Detroit Lions.

The donation will send $2,500 to the UMass Memorial Response Fund to provide snack items to caregivers at the hospital.

UMass Memorial Medical Center President Michael Gustafson, MD, thanked the Harmon family and said “This tremendous act of kindness and generosity is just the kind of energy that fuels our Medical Center.”

The snacks will be available at hospital cafeterias on a date to be announced in the near future.
