WORCESTER – The City of Worcester is reminding residents that starting on Wednesday, August 18, the use of personal watercrafts on Indian Lake is banned.
Violating the ordinance may carry a fine of $300, up to a maximum of $2,000.
The Worcester City Council approved the ordinance in its meeting on August 10. The ordinance is going into effect after the notification period required by law.
The ban remains in force through September 30, 2022.
