SOUTHBRIDGE – Detectives with the Southbridge Police Department conducting surveillance near Pleasant St. on Wednesday, October 21, saw what they believed to be a transaction around 6:30 PM.
Detectives stopped a vehicle with Michael Pion, 59, of Southbridge, and three other men.
During the investigation, several bundles of what detectives suspect to be heroin, packaged for distribution, was discovered. More than 50 polls of suspected Xanax was also discovered.
Pion also allegedly had $13,659 in his possession.
Pion faces charges of:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Heroin
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class E Xanax
- Possession of Class B cocaine
- Distribution of Class E Xanax
