That’s what owners say, announcing on its Facebook page that the newly-renovated Wan Wang just passed all its pertinent inspections and will open “soon.”
What “soon” means, we hope to tell you soon, too.
‘After all our hard work, we are so excited to announce that Wan Wang Restaurant has passed all inspections,” said the announcement “Please like and share our page.”
The owners of Kenichi Bistro and Sake Bomb Bistro are opening the new Asian bistro at 401 Park Ave in Worcester, the former home of Ho Toy Luau Restaurant.
As ThisWeekinWorcester.com was first to report last March, Kenny Huang and his brother Bobby — owners of Kenichi, Sake Bomb and K + B Real Estate — had originally planned to open the restaurant in Sept. 2018.
However, due to a lengthy permit procedure and a major reconstruction of the former Ho Toy space, the opening was pushed back several months.
According to Kenny Huang, the Wan Wang menu will feature both the traditional Chinese food items that could be found at the former Ho Toy and add new items that reflect their current menu selections at Kenichi and Sake Bomb.
Ho Toy officially closed in late January 2018.
